WTB - rag joint for 1972 Blazer

I just need the end that goes into the steering gear box.

The whole end...not just the rag joint but that plus the metal piece that is connected to the gear box.

Need it in decent shape with splines intact and not hammered off ;-)

I checked out that link but couldn't find a 1972 listing.

Did you use that on a 1972?

Talking Re: WTB - rag joint for 1972 Blazer

Try Tedroe Auto Salvage in Tedroe, Ohio. They have new ones for both manual and power steering. Yeah, if ya got power steering, you want the gigger of the two. Most parts places simply sell the rag joint, not the splined ends. I just converted my 67 from manual to power steering and they were a big help. Got the pump and bracket off a 72 Impala with a 250 six like mine. The gear box came off a 75 C10. Napa supplied a new pressure line and hose for the return line, not to mention new belts. Sure is great not to have to DRAG the old grey mare around corners any more.

Re: WTB - rag joint for 1972 Blazer

What's the diff between the power steering and non-power steering ones? I recently did a rag joint swap on my power steering one from parts in the shed, and now I wonder after reading this ....
