I am tempted to look into those as well - I have redone mine but don't like how they have come out.

Re: New Vent Windows - opinions? good or bad??
I bought a set of aftermarket and sent them back. They were real loose and the glass didnt seal.I ended up buying a real nice set off E-bay for about $225.They came out of Alaska and the chrome and rubber were in excellent shape.ood luck

Re: New Vent Windows - opinions? good or bad??
no, I have all the parts to rebuild mine now, might wish that I hadn't but we'll see. The one's from Southern KY Classics that Jerry Brown (Truck Shop TN)had seemed pretty nice, he thought that they were built better that the older aftermarket sets.

Rebuild your you will be happier in the end. I bought aftermarket ones that are leaky and the chrome is already rusting around the glass..... went with opp windows on cod fish and well i dont really know which is worse..... the jury is still out on this one.

Re: New Vent Windows - opinions? good or bad??
I rebuilt one myself and bought one from Chevy Duty (don't know what they're calling themselves these days) for my current truck and I'd have to say that I like the new one better than my rebuilt one. Of course, I may not be the greatest craftsman since it was my first rebuild. Somebody else might have better luck with the rebuild.
