Seat/shoulder belt stuff

Doing a little cleanup and have a few things to get rid of. I have a pair of original brown upper shoulder belts that are dirty with a little rust on the buckles, a pair of nice blue shoulder belt boots that are from a Mercury but are very similar to the ones our trucks used, a pair of blue belts with buckles and a set of shoulder belt holders that attach to the center console. Also included but not shown are the 2 original shoulder bolts that attached the upper belts to the cab.
$155 for everything shipped. First "I'll take them" in the thread gets them.
Jeff

Re: Seat/shoulder belt stuff

I would be in line for the blue shoulder holders (that mount on the cab) and the blue seatbelts. Are the seatbelts for the shoulder mount or the lap mount?

Shawn I would say they are lower, not sure if there is a difference though, somebody may know.

Hi Eric, they are 1968 belts, they're not show quality but they are the real deal.

Scott,
They are the same type that most here say are the correct ones but I am not 100% sure of that to be honest. The real deal has never been confirmed on this site or any other as far as I know. There is a man in Kansas that sells these and claims that they are NOS.

Re: Seat/shoulder belt stuff

Jeff, I bought mine from Roger and they were a nos set. After doing some digging as well, I believe these would just be black as well instead of dyed. After seeing many Chevelles and other 70-72 cars that had these as well, they have all been black. Don't quote me on that, but that's the best I have found. Cars with different color interiors usually had these in black. We parted out a 1972 Riviera just a couple of months ago, and it had the white interior with a complete black set of these. I should have took pics of it, but I don't think I have one with those pieces in it. I still haven't figured out if that bracket is the right one, or if you just use the two screws under the cap and screw it into the console. From the manual book, it appears you take off the bracket and just use the two holes. Trevor
