Re: Project NOT4SLE

I think i would go with a 1" or 2" phenolic carb spacer and that should get you above the AC bracket. I would go this route before bending the carb fuel line.

what oil filler problem you referring too?

I want to get rid of the stovepipe filler on the truck and go with something low profile since i am changing out the intake. I found a couple plugs and grommets but nothing fits snug

Re: Project NOT4SLE

I purchased a carb spacer plate today along with a skip white distributor. I figured I see no sense in timing the oem original distributor on this truck to get it running.
If I am going to patch this motor till OI build a new one I figured I might as well try to help it run better till then. I also ordered a set of 90* spark plug wires, a crimping tool and a dress up kit to continue putting lipstick on a pig.

Ill have pics hopefully on friday for you.
