4x4 swap Good deal???
I have a 66 chevy with a junk 203 transfercase and a TH350. I was thinking about upgrading to a 700r4 and a 205 but I found this on craigslist. Think its a good deal? Will the blazer gas tank work on my truck so I can junk the one behind the seat?

Re: 4x4 swap Good deal???
Think there is bed supports in the way for mounting that tank.. And 700r4+205 is a sweet setup... Not sure Ide pay 600 but I have a vast selection of parts here in cali... Are you sure its a 205 rather than a 208? Ive only seen 700r4 paired with 208's from factory but Im no expert and maybe way out of line even saying that...

My guess is you could pull the trans, t-case, crossmember and drivelines, put your 350 and bad 203 in the chassis and still sell it for 600 bucks.

600 is way high. You can find alot better deals on what you want to do.

Re: 4x4 swap Good deal???
Just glad someone said it before me. An 87 has a np208, not a 205.
Also, the price is too high, but see what they will come down to if you really want it.
