i seriously doubt it because i don't see how the spindle could have caused it to happen, but its worth a shot.

Warranty is only applicable if the root cause of the problem was due to poor workmanship in its manufacture or poor design of the spindle. They may have an out if the cause was due to an installation problem. If someone else provided the professional installation such as a shop, you then may have a case that it was due to their error, but since you did the work yourself, the liability is in your hands and you are s**t out of luck in my opinion. Western Chassis though may offer to help some, but only for goodwill and Sport Truck Direct would not be liable as they only sell what Western Chassis has. Then again, it wouldn't hurt to try.

id go after the bearing company but the spindle company is worth a shot too whats going to happen is the spindle company is going to blame the bearing company the bearing company is going to blame the grease company or the mechanic so basically youll be sitting there with your hand on your spindle
good luck

I think the best thing to do would be contact Western Chassis and explain what happened. And ask if you can purchase just the one spindle. I'm not sure that a retailer will sell just one.

bad spindle?
your spindle should be a cast item w/a press in hard steel actual spindle ,all you need is a replacement press in spindle! if they wont take care of that free or reasonable, please let all of us know on this site of there not "caring about you the customer" !! one other thing you might do is take it to a quality welding or repair shop and have a certified welder tig weld it up with a certaniam 77,it is a high quality/stress rod for joining similiar or dis similiar metals. good luck mike
