It bothers me that the ad says it is for drum/drum, disc/drum and disc/disc.
There should be different items allowing more or less fluid to front/rear to balance out breaking force because the three systems they say it will work for all have very different amounts of braking force at each end. |

Just got the notch done on my crew cab next comes helper bags and gooseneck hitch. took 2 days monday and tuesday the bilsteins ride perfectly

I would go with the adjustable unit from Summit. I have used it twice before on cars I put rear disc on and it helped tremendously in getting the threshold braking dialed in.
You want the rear to lock up just slightly before the front. Rear disc conversions usually cause brake lockup issues without the right proportioning valve. Rare 4-wheel disc exceptions exist like the C3 Corvette that didn't use a prop valve at all. It was balanced well enough that a straight distribution block did the job. Get the adjustable unit from Summit and you will be good to go and for much less money than that universal part that probably won't do the job properly for a truck with so little back end weight. |
