new guy
hey i was just checking in and letin yall know bout my project.. its a 72 long bed with 68 front clip. ive had since jan. of 05 and decided its time to fix it up right instead of leting it go to waste. i was wondering if any one knows how much you have to cut the frame down to make it a short bed?

Hey chevyndn. I dont have that info offhand to link ya, but I believe there was some in the FAQ area. If not you can ask in the 67-72 message area. Its been discussed before several times, I just cant find you a link to the info right now.

You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. Be sure to mark you calendar for the Midwest All Truck Nat's in Riverside, MO (September 11-13). As far as cutting down a LWB to make a SWB, scroll to the top of the page, and click on Search; type in what you are looking for and let the search engine do its work. This is one of the easiest ways I have found to locate anything on the site. Best of luck with the project!
