I've heard people say they have camel humps on their trucks but I don't know if they were factory installed on the trucks.

Re: 68 327 engine.. (Seattle)

Dave, these are definately not the "camel hump" heads nor the "power pack" heads.. these have a casting on the end that I am not familiar with.. The casting numbers inside are #3911032..
Mortec lists these as:
3911032....68......307/327......70cc chamber

Mike, Yes I have the original carb, the casting number on the intake is: #3919808..
This casting number is also used on the 68 Vette 300HP 327 and the 350HP L-79...

Re: 68 327 engine.. (Seattle)

Mark, I'd love to have this available for my Camaro if I ever (GASP!) decided to go that route and I'd love to have it, but being 7000 miles away until January presents a problem for both of us. I know you probably can't store it, but if there's any way... I'd love to have it complete with carb if it's not already gone! Maybe I'll see if Drew could pick it up for me...

Re: 68 327 engine.. (Seattle)

Good deal all around. This is also the same block as a`68 SS350 Camaro. They ran 70cc heads.I was pleased to find one for my`67 GMC project.Mine now sports the 64cc heads and other goodies to bring it to about 350 hp.it was a running old motor. It required no machining to the steel crank and very little to the rest of the motor. These are a great find.

Re: 68 327 engine.. (Seattle)

Thank Mark and Drew! Thanks for that tidbit and the pic Tim.
Mark, if there's any way I could get the original carb along with it for a reasonable price, I'd love to have it (assuming it's a 4bbl). Just let me or Drew know...
