Hello from Kentucky

Just picked up a 1951 "Old Navy Truck" and have my work cut out for me.

I have been messing with Motorcycles most of my life, Figured i would give the 4 wheel

Been married a long ass time, have 4 kids, 18year old twins, 16 year old and a 8 year old. the 8 yr old is the only girl.

First thing I need to do is make the truck raod worthy, Then drive it for a couple months.
The old truck has a 292 in it. first thoughts where to clip the truck and V8 it. Each day I'm growing more fond of the straight axle and I6. I have a split manifold for it.
