AC Cab

Does anyone have a rusted out, or unusable cab that I could buy the firewall section where the AC Evaporator assembly bolts to it. I am converting my truck to Factory Air and have already restored my truck so don't want to change the complete cab.
Thanks, Charles

Re: AC Cab

I do....but I am up in north Idaho and I also have yet to pay for my subscription here, so let me know if this is something you would want to do and I will get everything square with the board to be able to get it to you.
I will get some pics today.

Re: AC Cab

I had been dealing with a buddy who has what you're looking for. I was gonna get a chunk of it to replace the bad parts of mine until he son mentioned what his plans were. At that point, I decided that Dad and Son weren't communicating enough and I wasn't going to intercede.

In my case, I'm ditching all of the factory HVAC components and going to go with Old Air system. Here's why: (the area where the box mounts is the best part. It's all the area where the blower motor/fan mounts that is trash. A generous application of new 20-ga. metal will help a bunch as well as some re-shaping of the trough that spans the firewall. Yeah, it's gonna be smoooooooooth.
