Re: Quick help on wheel fit
make SURE they are 6 lug on 5.5" bolt circle!
another thing you might be aware of is the backspacing. normally, you can run a 4.5 to 5" backspaced rim on 67-72's without too much problems.... however, the newer rims have a larger offset which means to look correct, you will need to run spacers. is your truck lowered any? if so, how much and by what means? this will also help in making a judgement call. but WOW! thats a steal. you should jump on them. even if they don't fit, you could resale and make a bit of a profit!

Re: Quick help on wheel fit
my truck is bagged front and back with a 2 3/4" c notch and cupped LCA
it's only a deal if they fit I blew a rear tire cord (I think 120mph is a bit much for a truck tire) I plan to bring the jack but it's a hour and change one way to try thats why I'm hoping someone can lock up a decition for me It's alot of bling for my truck but at that $$ who coud say NO besides if they tuck in more I can put 2" drop spindles and lay X with out hitting the inner fender the rest wil be trim to fit Last edited by Hottrucks; 08-30-2009 at 02:05 PM. |

Re: Quick help on wheel fit
breaking and bad news...... the rims your looking at are for a 6 lug x 127mm (5") bc. they will not work without adapters. sorry 'bout that.
again, our rigs run 6 x 5.5" bc

Re: Quick help on wheel fit
just looking at them you can tell the offset is way wrong. They'd probably rub even if the bolt pattern was right.

Re: Quick help on wheel fit
not big on doing that I know its probably unamerican to be like that but hopefully some guy like me without a ton of cash can score the deal..... just looking to upgrade my wheels and give the old clam a better stance besides since I blew a rea tire now is the time before I spend $$ to replace the tire THEN buy something else
thanx again for the quicky JEff |
