Cab Corners
I have the typical rust in both my corners, and i'm looking at buying a new set of patch panels. Where is the best place to get them? I know they are all around $20 a piece, but i was wondering if there is preferred place to get them.
thanks.

Re: Cab Corners
I got mine from LMC as well. No complaints. I used the structural panel adhesive to glue them in (rather than welding).

Re: Cab Corners
I bought mine from LMC also. But, WOW, what a great job getting them on. Have to do mine next. Info on that adhesive would also be helpful.

Re: Cab Corners
I think this is the stuff:
http://www.eastwood.com/maxim-bondin...8-45fl-oz.html I can verify when I get home, but it comes out in two parts and you mix it together like an epoxy. I liked it, since you can glue & screw it together (...and clamp...) and get the panel exactly where you want it. There is sufficient working time and it's not so dramatic as welding (and you don't have to worry about putting heat into the panel). You might notice I made the cuts so that they would be covered up by the side trim when done. All that remains now is to see how well they hold up! I did a box corner as well:

Re: Cab Corners
It's sitting up on wood blocks for this portion. Eventually I took it all the way off (I used my engine hoist).
You can see the whole build thread here, in case you haven't seen it before: http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=342926

Re: Cab Corners
Here's a product that we use at my uncle's body shop.
http://www.lord.com/Home/ProductsSer...0/Default.aspx I've used it to shave door handles , lights, patch in panels and even complete bed sides. It's a great product and can be bought from your local automotive paint supplier. It's alot easier to use than welding.
