sheetmetal gauge
I tried to search, but didnt find what i was looking for, Can someone tell me what gauge sheetmetal is best for making small patches in body panels?

I would recommend using the same as original which should be 19 ga. I suspect 18 is a little more common and would only be slightly thinner. What kind of repairs? That may make a difference in what the experts (which I'm not) might suggest.

20 gage will work. Sheet metal is thicker as the numbers get smaller so 18 gage is thicker then 19 gage.

18 guage will be easier to work with and not heat warp as easily.

FYI, the door panels where the speakers are located is 21 gage, (.0329). 20 gage is .0359.
If you mic clean metal in the area next to the holes it will be approximately .033" Jim
