help identify column
I am wanting to rebuild this column if it is a correct truck tilt. If it is a van of some other then I won't waste my time. How do you correctly identify a column? Total length, wiring, lower length? Thanks for any help.

The length will tell you, shorter is a truck..
I don't know the correct length though, sorry. according to the tilt/turn levers it's period correct though. I'm rebuilding a van tilt, only issue is that I have to shorten the middle shaft in the engine compartment.

A pic of the whole column will help. It looks like the rubber seal on the column is the truck type,also the wire connector. Wheres the N/S switch?

Need a better pic of the bottom of the column where the lower shaft bolts to it. The length of that will help determine which it is. Van is longer, truck and motorhome is shorter but the N/S on the motorhome is in the vans position.
