gas tank relocation FI
im about to run a 5.3 4l60e setup and i want to stay fuel injected. what routes can i do. i know fuelcellguy sells a tank but i dont really have money to spend 700 on a tank but it is a option. My question is what other tank can i go with that isnt as pricey. Also do i need a in tank fuel pump or can i run a external. One last thing as far as fuel lines go and fitting does anyone have the part numbers?

When I read the title I was all ready to suggest FCG, but you have obviously already looked into that. If you change your mind, I think he is still offering free shipping.

Re: gas tank relocation FI
You could run your in-cab tank with an external pump for the time being.

Re: gas tank relocation FI
Running a blazer tank on my TPI in the 71. Just run an external pump about 2 feet from tank on the frame rail, away from exhaust and whatnot. For fuel return, I just used the original vent lines and ran them back into one of the fittings on the tank. Have a vent on the tank with a length of hose to act as a vent pointing up, coiled and then the filler and vent for it. Works great.
I started out using the in cab tank, but the fumes were awful from it sending fuel back to the tank. You can make anything work with duct tape!!
