Bed Toolbox Options
I am looking to get a toolbox for the bed of my LWB fleetside truck. I would like to get a plastic one because of it's light weight and they cost a bit less. I am looking for one that will sit below or level with the bedrails, and one that has enough room for me to put a 16 gallon fuel cell (18.5" wide x 18.5" deep x 12" tall) in so i can remove the tank from the cab. Is there a box out there that will fit my criteria for around $100? I was looking at wal-mart, and all the boxes they had were the type that sit ontop of the bedrails. Would a box for a midsize truck sit level or below the bedrails?

According to Weathertight, they make about the best boxes around. Fuel tanks and crossboxes do not mix, something about gas fumes collecting in the box. Sounds trick but could be bad. I do know that your not suppost to fill a gas can while it's in a plastic bed liner, static electricity makes them go BOOM.
