im building a truck and the front is done, i did a 4" z and bagged the front with 3" drop spindles. so im on the rear now and i zed the back 5" and putting a notch in it. im trying to figure out what kind of top braket to use if i put the bags in the spot for the springs. OR does anyone have another idea for mounting the bags. im not trying to spend a bunch of money buying pre-built parts as i can build most of it myself. thanx.

Rear bags can be bolted directly to the frame. The front can use an upper bag plate like this one from Suicidedoors.

i forgot to mention that the bags are dual port, it doesent look like they will fit to the frame on top.

Here is a pic of mine before I did my backhalf. I just had the bag mounted in place of the coil spring. Drill some holes through the spring plate and frame. What are you doing for the steering up front? I z'd my front 4", but steering has not been touched. Not sure if I'm staying with the 4", but looks like the steering is going to be a major pita if I do. I was thinking of going back down to 3.5 or 3.75" Z. I just wanted to get the cross member tucked as much as possible so I could ride real low and not have to worry about the lower arms dragging on anything.

THANX FOR THE PICS! up front i stayed with all stock steering stuff the only thing i had to do was double the u joints from the steering colum to steering box.

What's your plans for tire height? 4in Z is a bit big, but not bad. I have a 2.5 Z, and 3in spindles. My plans are 24's. I have lots of pics in my biuld thread, including my A-arms, they are notched from steering and had been cut and tilted.

How far are you're lower arms off the ground when flat out? How tall are your front tires. Just curious. Thanks.

the arms are just shy of touching. I have a 27in tall tire, and I'm set to lay on 24's. Truck digs in the pavement with dropped. I've already tore into my pinch weld lol.
