HELP 37 parts in steering column

i was trying to decide if i should buy a new aftermarket column when i decided to disassemble one i had on hand.

i would like to keep a stock column but cannot have the linkage connection in the engine compartment.

my column is an auto shift i have a cover without a shifter hole in it.
can i change out these parts and do i have to leave the shift tube in or not

You can leave the shift tube out as the bezel does not need the tube for locating.
