evidentally i need to replace my motor mounts, so i've been told. how much should this cost me? what's involved in replacing them?

If you are just replacing them, a floor jack and a few blocks of wood will do. You can do it one of two ways, either removing the bolts holding the mount to the engine or the bolt holding the mount to the frame bracket. With a floor jack and a block of wood, place it under the engine, more to the one side you removed the bolts and carefully jack up until you can get the old mount out. Swap in the new mount leaving the frame side bolt a little loose. Do the other side and after all the bolts are in, tighten them up.

Luckily these engine bays have a lot of room to work in, unlike a lot of newer cars/trucks.

Not really a hard thing to do but does take a couple hours.

Easy but more $$$ is take it to a shop and have it done.

assuming we are talking the 72 big block in your signiture, they are cheap.

Really simple fix, with your truck signiture thought you'd know, about the easiest thing to work on really.
