Re: Winchester Sierra

I can't believe it's any kind of factory built edition, but probably a dealer installed package. It does seem to be in really good shape though.

Ditto. I don't remember building any of those.

Re: Winchester Sierra

I vividly remember looking at one of those on a southeast Missouri dealer lot back in late '86.

I'm with you guys, the Winchester package may be dealer installed. probably a few outside decals and couple of interior badges over and above the Sierra package.

Re: Winchester Sierra

Man, you would think the "Winchester" edition would at least come with bullet hole wheels.

Since it has Missouri tags on it, that may have been the one you looked at. That would be freaky if it were.

Re: Winchester Sierra

You haven't seen them because they are very, very, very rare. That probably one of one right there.

It is a clean truck though...

Maybe it was more expensive because it was a "break" controller.

Re: Winchester Sierra

GM made some strange packages for export. I wish I could have gotten better pics of this GMC Wrangler. I borrowed a cell phone to take these pics on the Bruce Peninsula of a truck built in Michigan and sold in Canada. Along the rear bedrail just peeking out from under the cap is the "Wrangler" decal. The very nice emblem on the cab! A retiree I know from GM in Michigan confirmed that they made these.

Re: Winchester Sierra

That is a gorgeous truck. Even if it was a dealer package, still a very nice truck.
