Radiator Dimensions

I sold my old radiator with the intentions of getting a drop in aluminum replacement from these guys --> link

However, looking thru my new summit racing catalog, BeCool has a new universal line with GM style inlet and outlets. Only problem is, I don't know that actual length and height measurements, since I sold mine already Can anyone help? Not looking for core dimensions, but physical length and height.

Thanks.

Re: Radiator Dimensions

Seems most of the aftermarket one's I see going in are 19x31. My original one was 19x33, but the replacement worked great.

Re: Radiator Dimensions

Be careful with that lower water outlet neck, had a heck of a time getting alignment right, mine was strait, but yours looks like it angles up and maybe of help. Good luck to you, as always, you know the drill, post up pics

Using stock four core brackets was also a challenge b/c alum. rads are squared and factory are more rounded at the seam where the brackets sit

Re: Radiator Dimensions

I think the radiator "size" is 27", that is just the core measurment not including the "tanks". When I ordered my dual fan & shroud setup from Flex-a-lite I ordered the one for 27" GM Radiators...
My clubs site is down so I cannot post up pics

Re: Radiator Dimensions

Now wait... did you want the measurments of the existing radiator or the BeCool? I have a 1000hp BeCool which I can measure if you want.

Wanted the dimensions of the old rad to use as a starting point for the new one.
