Re: So I found some retro wheels on CL!

Tony, I have Cooper Cobra 245/60/15 on my truck. I really like them. Got a great deal on craigslist. The set was like new, except on 2 the white letters had been rubbing the spindles on a mustang that they were on for a couple hundred miles. Got all 4 for $180. There was still parts of the stickers on a them and other than where they rubbed, the letters were all still blue. I just had to mount them white letters in and drive em. But like I say, love the tire.

About your wheels, I think I like the black better than the others. It is your decision in the end, make your decision and rock it.

I was going to paint the grille flat black, along with the tailgate band, paint the bumpers flat black or the body color, tint the windows and run these wheels with white letter tires. Some of a Mad Max meets Nastruck look I guess.
If you go that direction, you should definitely go with these wheels. Are they made by American Eagle? And...What are you gonna do with the others?

Yes they're alum.. they are Rebel Racing wheels.. I'm not sure who makes them, I think it might be American Racing, but I got them off of Ebay.

I'll probably hold on the Progressive wheels incase I change my mind about the black ones.
