Hello from Hampden, Baltimore, MD
My name is Screws. I live in Baltimore, MD, in a neighborhood called Hampden that's old car and bike friendly.
A few months ago, I purchased my first old truck, a 1965 C-10. Since then I have caught the bug, and have been turning wrenches, painting, changing things around, etc etc. I got on the HAMB, and recently someone there let me know that y'all existed. Presently I'm looking for a set of steel wheels and some new tires for the truck, and continue to chase an electrical 'drain' somewhere in the system- possibly a bad ground. Despite all the things that people call problems with my C10, I love it. Those 'problems' are either future projects and/or give it character, so I'm glad that it came with those, and that it shows it's age so well. -Screws |

Thanks for the welcome and direction. . . .ooh, Fogo de Chao.... fast for a week before coming in town. It's non-stop eating, good food- it's a chain, but worth visiting while in town.

You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more. Be sure to mark you calendar for the Midwest All Truck Nat's in Riverside, MO (September 11-13). Glad to have you aboard screws, and can't wait to see some pics on that project.

Re: Hello from Hampden, Baltimore, MD
*Blush* Thanks for the warm welcomes Folks! I'm working on some pics of the beast, and I'll post 'em up later today. Finding a WEALTH of knowledge and great advise in existing threads here- even got to help a feller with an electrical problem similar to mine already (just directed him to threads that are helping me with my problems I found here on chevytrucks).
If you are on the east coast, especially the mid-atlantic, enjoy the beautiful day! Have a great Sunday, -Screws |
