83 suspension in a 60

hello im in the process of buildin a 1960 chevy stepside as of right now i have the 6.2 diesel motor and transmission in there and mounted now my next question is will the rear axle and complete front crossmember fit out of my 83? and after that how hard will it be to put air bags in it?

I'm not familiar with the torsion bar front suspension,... so hopefeully some one else will chime in.
The rear axle will work but you will have to remove the leaf spring perches and install trailing arm mounts. Companies like ECE (Early Classic Enterprises) sell them new.
