need info on torq thrust backspacing!!?????

hey whats up everyone. so..... i am sick of waiting for boss 338's, trying to get a hold of the folks over at coys, and, looking for wheels that..........well,i am not even too sure about. my 82 short bed is currently riding on 15x8 and 15x10 cragar ss's. for some reason i thought that i would like putting 18''s on my truck, and the more i thought aboutit, the less and less i liked the idea. in fact, i can honestly say that i dont like larger diameter wheels. so in the end, i have just decided to go with a classic, i know that they are played out but, sorry, i am going to have to go with the torq thrust D's, with the gray center finish 15x8.5 all the way around. i will be wrapping them in good old fashiod radial TA's, white letters out of course. it is what i truly wanted when i first bought the truck, BUT, i have a question, are any of you guys running these wheels? the BACKSPACING on these are only 3.75'' would that be an issue on our trucks???? i if the wheels are a ''go'' my tire size will be 275/60/15.

Should not be an issue. The stock truck ralleys are 15x8 with a 4" b.s.
A Torque Thrust D,... 15x8.5 with a 3.75" b.s. will stick out .750" more than the standard truck ralley.
If you plan on lowering in the future,... that may cause a problem.

Try Newstalgia Wheel for your TTD's.

I think your 275's on those wheels will rub. Better do some measuring.
I've run a 17x8 with a 5" backspace with no trouble. I had 255/50-17's up front.
Also go with a wider rim in the back or the wheels will look "sucked in".
I ran 17x9.5's with a 275/50-17 on the back. (4.5" bs)

yeah, i thought of that, the 15x10 model on newstalgia has the same amount of backspacing, 3.75. i dont know if that would be a problem, i cant exactly measure either, i am over seas right. now. i can maybe get a narrower tire???

A 15x10 with a 3.75" bs. will rub on the wheel opening of the rear bedsides.
