I'm bidding on thsi Ebay short box and am looking for opinions on its condition and what a fair price would be. I've studied the pics good but difernet eyes usualy pick up different things.

Looks like a nice original - I'm a little confused 1500?, SHORT bed - looks long to me... the up side is 72 = factory disc's up from and 5 lug wheels. Ask for more info...

I can see why it may look like long box but check out this pic. Also it only has the box stake holes front an back and long boxes have one in the middle as well.

You only live 100 miles away from the truck.

The 1st thing that caught my eye was some rot under the passenger door. I maybe mistaken but thats one strike against this very nice looking GMC truck. And if you live that close setup a time with the owner to drop by and thoroughly check it out. From dents, to rust to any other major issues you may have to deal with if you make the purchase.

Looks like my trucks GMC brother. I would say $2,500 - $3,000.

The only dents I can see are on the driver side bed close to the door. I don't think I'd spend over maybe 1500 for it. There's a lot of cool cars out there for cheap, look on craigslist or thrifty nickle or the like, ppl like to scam on eBay and it tends to be more expensive. I once spent almost 3000 on an orig mini that was custom and never got the car and lost my money, so be careful and only work through paypal of you can help it.

Pretty nice lookin truck. I'm just wonderin what his reserve is.
I'd buy it, but I'd tell him/her they can keep the kid.

Well the auction is over and the bid went to 2500.,which is 500.00 more than I was willing to pay, and the reserve wasn't met. I guess this guy must have watched some Barrett-Jackson reruns before he posted this truck on Ebay !!!
