Wish I would have known you were looking, I seen a NOS one a couple of weeks ago on Ebay. It was really nice, Trevor

Re: WTB: Suburban Roof Rack.

THere was a NOS Blazer one I was watching. Got to about 200.00 I believe. I was watching, but it would have been too short for the burb. I thought about buying it to trade for aburb rack, but got worried I would be stuck with it!

Re: WTB: Suburban Roof Rack.

I'm looking for one in good condition. No major dents or dings. A little pitting on the brackets is okay.

Re: WTB: Suburban Roof Rack.

my dad built one for his 72 burb.....just a couple sticks of 2x4 with clamps bolted through that clipped onto the rain gutters. he modified it to fit the '84 but the holes are still there and i will reposition the clamps for use on my 72. don' like the idea of drilling holes in the roof, except to mount my "yankee" cab lights that came off my dad's 72. the roof rack on my dad's 87 burb has been very handy for hauling extra luggage, box spring/mattress, etc on occassion. be easier to find one of those in the salvage yard!

Re: WTB: Suburban Roof Rack.

I have a 1972 Chevrolet 3Door 4WD
Suburban that I am restoring and I would love to get a roof/luggage rack for it as well. There are several
universal racks out there for sale that are nice but very expensive, $595.00 installed !! if you find anything out as to where you can get them priced fair please PM me as well....
