67' K10 front srings

Hello everyone, I spend most of my time in teh 2ws forums, but I am in need of assistance with my 67' K10. I have front leaf springs for 73+ trucks and would like to put them on the 67' I have run into a few issues, the springs are physically longer and im not sure the center pin in is the same relation to stock springs. (Ok I mean will the front axle still be centered the same in the wheel well?) Anyone tried this before? Do I just need to get 67' specific front springs? Thank you for any help you can provide.

not sure on the center pin but those springs will max out your shackle and rest up against the frame.

a longer shackle might work but im not 100 % sure.

Ok thanks for the info, I attempted to install one spring last night and it did hit the frame, I was worried that a longer shackle would be at too steep of an angle.

You will have to relocate the mounting points. You might check out www.diy4x.com The have a kit just for that, # FGB52

Re: 67' K10 front srings

Ok I looked at that kit but i am still a little confused, I do not want to use the rear springs for the 73+ only the front ones, are they 52" as well? I thought that only the rear was 52" and the front were shorter?? Am I mistaken here?

no. the front measure i believe 47 ish?

i also beilieve the diy4x kits has holes for diffrent length springs also so you may be able to use that kit.

they also offer a weldon front perch that you can weld or bolt (drill your own holes) that might work better

Re: 67' K10 front srings

My bad, most people ask about 52's and that kit just came to mind. If you can measure bracket locations from the donor truck that would help you a lot. Like 70 Beast said diy4x has other parts that may help you out.
