How wide rim can I go?

I have a '63 with stock suspension. How wide of a 15" tall rim can I go on the back before I start rubbing on the trailing arms. If I have to move the suspension inward, what would be the cheapest route?

Re: How wide rim can I go?

I have a 63 long fleetside, im just about to order a set of 18s & 20s for my truck.

20 x 12 on the rear, tight fitt, you will need to widen the wheel tubs and cut out and strengthen the outer inner arch, no suspension mods needed,

20 x 10 will fitt, 5" backspace,
