i tried once and i dont think that there is such a thing as "a good anything" for a 305, except a 530 swap, just my .02

haha, not to dog the BB because I have one, but a buddy of mine had a 305 in his 71 tunnel ram and 2 4's, 4.11s, th400. He was able to cut consistant 13.20s.

*****in85, the single plane manifold will probably make it run worse than the leaking stock one. If it's just a gasket leaking on your stock manifold I'd just replace the gaskets & call it good if you don't have money for a dual plane manifold.
3r!c84, the 305 is basically a 350 with smaller pistons & crappy flowing heads. The Performer RPM is a great high rise dual plane manifold, but I think I'd go with the regular Performer on the 305. |
