radiator swap from 6cyl to 350 question
I have a 79 stepside that was originally with a 6 cyl. I am converting to a 350. I went to the local o'reilly and bought a $175 3 core radiator for a 79 with a 350 (AT no a/c). I get home and realize the bracket over the top of the radiator is different. I went ahead and ordered what I believe to be the correct bracket.
Do i need to change anything else? Thanks Brad |

the aftermarket rads now are different and you need different brackets.. i just went through this with mine... i would however put a 4 core in with any 8 banger motor

Re: radiator swap from 6cyl to 350 question
If I bought an aftermarket rad for a 79 with a 350 (auto/ no a/c) , then will the rad bracket for a 79 with a 350( auto/ no a/c) from LMC work?
