Unemployment bordem....

Been unemployed for 5 months now... the job market here isnt too good...

So to kill the boredem I have been messin' with the truck, so far the changes are mirrors and painted goods (Wheels and grill...). And a good cleaning!!! with no funds to anything really out there, I just find cheap ways to improve on this thing.

It is now my DD, and I hate the hydroboost brakes! Soooooo touchy!

Whats next?....

Tell me what ya think of it so far....

Before...

After

Re: Unemployment bordem....

Looks awesome! Hopefully you get back on your feet before unemployment paychecks run out! I entered the HVAC industry in October and was laid off in March-May. During that time I accomplished so much body work and then returned to work in-time to make good money again.

Getting laid off is actually nice if it's within a small time-frame and you get to collect.

Re: Unemployment bordem....

Um, can I have your old mirrors? Like the little touches. I understand doing little cheap things to help keep your mind off things. I got laid off last year but I was fortunate to find a job quickly. This may sound odd but you might look at selling cars. It is not the most steady job but there is potential for good money. I know out here there is always dealers hiring. I started doing it as a means to get by temporarily, and still do it 2 1/2 years later. Sorry to ramble but I thought I would offer up the idea. Oh, and really, about those mirrors...
