Just Want To Show My Appreciation To ALL The Board Members!!

I am a Mopar guy dyed-in-the-wool but I have an increasing interest in my ol' Chevy truck. I was a hardcore board member over "on the other side" for a long time but I find this place home now. ALL of you Chevy guys are so much more laid back, easy to talk to and not even a quick "flame" trigger finger like "the others" You all chime right in when I ask a question and are eager to help out a fellow hobbiest witout the judgemental rhetoric to my questions and opinions. Hell, I can even mention the name ....Ebay... without getting my post deleted!!! This is definately the BEST Chevy board on the web and I am glad to call it my home!!
I have my Mopars, sure, but I am glad to be able to say I have my Chevy friends and we all share in the common interest of the preservation of cars and trucks the way they used to be made and when America was ( and still is )THE auto maker!! (no offence intended to our northern neighbours. of course )

Thanx again each and every one of you!!!

I'm also glad to be a part of this board, I'm gonna be 16 in 2 days and already know much more about these trucks, or alot of Chevy parts and things than just about any of my friends or my parents friends. I'm glad to have you, and all board members, in my learning experience.

I feel exactly the same way. I've lurked around other Car/Truck related boards and they're nothing like this one at all, in fact they hardly even mention cars at all and if they do it's usualy BS. This is pretty much the only board I've seen where people don't get bashed constanly for no reason at all. Good people here.

Thanks and I agree with you about the board members here. I used to frequent Pirate4x4 but I got tired of everyone overthere working harder at putting the other guy down or coming up with a whitty comment rather than helping to solve the problem. Maybe I'm just getting old.

By the way, ya gotta love the Mopar Muscle. I used to have a '70 Challenger R/T and a '68 Charger (painted it Plum Crazy Purple).

I agree 100%, I needed a few things and one board member said '' come to house and their yours''. Not many folks like that anymore. The members I've met and dealt with have been 1st class. I don't even search for other boards I find the folks, info and parts here the best. Thanks

I agree with everyone, this board is great! It is almost as addictive as my old truck!LOL

I especially like the fact that the younger members (of which I am not) get treated as equals. Because the youth are the ones that are gonna be driving these trucks long after us old farts are gone.

Just my $.02

Another great thing about this board... even if someone doesn't have an answer, they usually at least offer some encouragement, which is incredibly helpful for those of us who are unsure about a lot of the work involved with restoring or just plain ol' getting it running again. thank you all. the people who use this board also seem to avoid the "flame war" which is nearly constant on most other internet forums that I've visited.

I enjoy being among the people in this group... thank you.

hey crank, it wouldn't have helped......one of us is a computer programmer........just would have taken longer to get in...lol

8 out of 10 personalities get really agrivated by locked doors,,,

For the 9th one it doesn't matter if it's locked or not...

and luckly for all of us # 10 hasn't found where we hid the keys.....

and we are not ignoring the GMC people...........same manufacture.....so if you feel the need to create a sub culture go right ahead...but don't expect me to buy into it....at least not until I own one.........
