Question on my 1960 lowering kit.

I ordered a lowering kit for my 60 chevy. It is a 5" kit. First of all the springs were fine, They are the same for a lot of years. The problem is the shocks they sent me seem to small. I realize that the box is off so they will have a lot more weight on them. Am I just being paranoid or is this a problem. This picture is with the weight of the rear frame on the springs.

Re: Question on my 1960 lowering kit.

Looks good to me. Although it is possible to over extend a shock, it's not as probable as bottoming one out.

Unless the pic is decieving, it looks like it's just a bit shorter. Once the bed is on you should be good.

Re: Question on my 1960 lowering kit.

Thanks, I was just worried that if I hit a bump it might over extend on the rebound and break something. I've had a lot of lowriders over the years and bottomed out brackets. Cant count how many I've had to weld up. This probably has me paranoid.
