Speedometer??
On my 80 C10 TH350 my speedometer bounces between 45-55 MPH back and forth back and forth. Before 45 and after 55 Seems good. I checked my drive gear, and my driven gear in the tail housing everything looks good. Is my speedometer going bad? Is there a fix to my problem besides replacing the speedometer? Let me know thanks all.
Ken

Re: Speedometer??
Where do you suggest I lube it? Do I need to pull the speedometer out of the dash and lube inside. or do I try to lube the speedometer cable? Thanks.

Re: Speedometer??
i hear graphite works really well.
mine does the same thing out of the blue on occasion. it makes violent bounces sometimes to the point that i almost crawl under the truck and disconnect the cable from the t-case, and then magically as quickly as it starts it stops. :S
