Re: 9/20 Edition What did you get done?

I had to work most of the weekend but I did manage to pick up some powder coated parts from board member Tx Firefighter. Nice stuff for sure.... Yesterday we hung out w/105,000 close friends to watch a football game @ this new stadium in N.Texas.....

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.

Re: 9/20 Edition What did you get done?

I pretty much got Fred finished up, at least he runs now!!!! But the throttle pedal isn't working, so my wife picked up a replacement throttle control module for me today, and I got an OBD II scanner today too. The parts for the DTC plug arrived today, so tonight I will get that wired up, clear all the codes, and install the new module. Hopefully then I'll have a go-fast pedal!

My son and I did idle around the driveway and down the road a little though.

Also added relays to the headlights. The headlight switch now triggers the relays that powers the lights. I'm getting almost 3 more volts to the headlights now, much brighter!!!! Plus I added a diode so that all four lights come on in high bean now.

My daughter hooked up the splash guards and fuel filler necks.

Re: 9/20 Edition What did you get done?

I went to a swap meet sunday morning. Ended up with a new reproduction tailgate for my blazer for $25 and a snow blower for $75. The sad part is now I almost want it to snow so I can try it out.
I thought I saw Jeff's '77 parked there, but I guess not since he has the rear end out.
Edit: Also got a lead on a set of NOS fenders for my '83. I'll have to call the guy this week.

Put some miles on the black truck. Radio off listening to nothing but the Flowmasters.
