86 sierra headlight/ taillight issues
I have a 86 GMC SIERRA.i am gettin no tail lights head lights or instrument panel lights. brake lights an blinkers are fine. i have bought an on/off switch, traced the wires, cleaned all the grounds even on the radiator support..any ideas would be very appreciated...

sounds like there is a break in the wires somewhere.... also is the connector to the headlight switch good? id also play with the connector between the cab and the chassis

ok this is what i have found out. the headlight switch has 7 male ends. the connector only has six female ends. dont know if thats how its supposed to be or what. and also does the red wires from the starter have anything to do with the power source to the head lights. an also what connector from the cab to the chassis. i think i am going to do the dreaded thing an take it to a mechanic... hope i can get a few tips to get these lights going before i take it to the shop.
