Champagne Interior
Was a champagne interior original in these trucks or is it just a trend? My 63's interior was painted champagne when I got it and I have seen alot of the 60-66's with champagne interiors.

Re: Champagne Interior
I'm not sure of the correct name of the color, but yes it is a factory color...greyish(kind of pewter) with a redish tint.

Re: Champagne Interior
Thanks. Whenever I finally am ready to have the truck painted I was going to paint the inside the same color as the outside but I saw a truck with champagne color interior with accent pieces painted the outside color and it looked so nice so I think I'm gonna do that now.

Re: Champagne Interior
If I'm not mistaken, I think GM actually called the color "Fawn".

Re: Champagne Interior
Yes.. I just went through this with my paint guy. There is an exterior Fawn and an interior Fawn.. different formulas from PPG. I am painting my exterior the interior Fawn... I think it is a better color... and a bit different.

Re: Champagne Interior
Thanks for the paint name. I'll have to make sure I write it down.
