I work for an old truck magazine, and spend 7 days a week making sure we don't have any blank pages. The publisher really hates it when that happens. I had a bunch of old, and a few new trucks before I got my first job as a truck magazine editor, and I'll still have them if the job ever goes away. I created Tailgate magazine in '99, and left it when they wanted me to turn Highbeams the car magazine that spun off Tailgate into a pure riceburner book. Now I'm at Custom Classic Trucks, and I couldn't be happier (don't know about the readers) I don't have a lot of free time, but I'll try to stay in touch. If you have any subscription problems, or want to complain how lame CCT's website is please contact the main corporate office, it's somewhere in Florida, and give them hell... can I say hell on here?

You'll find this place to become your second home. There's tons of information, friends, parts, .... and so much more.

You're by chance not the editor/columnist making their way to Missouri this weekend for the Midwest All Truck Nat's are you? If so, be sure to stop by our group member area at the show for some BBQ, truck talk, and to meet some of the great members this site has to offer.

Anyway, glad to have you aboard and I think you will really like the support this site has to offer. If you are currently working on a project we would love to see it, or else we will help you find one.

As far as using language on the site, I try to refrain from using specific terms as we try to keep the site as family friendly as possible. We do have several young members which frequent the site on a regular basis and to keep them well educated on the right stuff, we like to keep things simple but informational. It will be great to make the addition of CCT a part of the board.

Yep, I'm the editor of CCT and I will be in Riverside, Mo. this weekend for the show. I was going to drive my '79 C10 Big10 and then was told I'd be away from the office too long. I don't have an associate editor anymore, so things kind of stop when I leave. I'm looking forward to meeting you guys, and my friends from www.fordtruk.com. I guess its no secret I have a bunch of old Fords and Chevys, and one old Dodge... and of course my '05, '64, and '68 GMCs. I love them all the same, I guess that's why they gave me the job.

This is a great website, and I'm looking forward to picking some brains about things that I don't know about these trucks, and trust me, there's a lot more I'd like to know about them. Oh, and sorry about the hell thing, heck always sounded lame to me. In CCT I've called it that place where Satan lives, and that seems to work.

Well you will have plenty of trucks, blazers, and suburbans to look through at the event. The KC GMC/Chevy truck club puts forth a ton of effort to make this show what it is, so I know you will not be disappointed.

As far as bringing your Big10, you will need to mark your calendar for next year.

Man, what a great show, and the nicest people in the world anyone would ever want to meet! Right from catching up to bobbo and Brad in Brad's '67 small-window at the Sonic with my rented Impala to get directions to the grounds, it was an incredible time. I just got home late last night after starting my day in Sioux Falls, SD and then driving back to KC. Flew to Dallas, and then home to OC, I'm drooling on my shirt tired. LockDoc keep me up to date on your '36. TCB-1 that original '69 short=step slammed with a sidemount spare is still on my mind, what a great truck. Anyways like I said, because I write for a living its tough to get on here, but I will stay in touch as much as possible. You folks are the best!
