aux battery not charging
Anyone have experience with this? The only thing I have done is to gauge the battery while the truck is running. 12 volts.. no charge!

Have you checked your relay under the auxiliary battery box?
With the ignition "on" the relay is activated and connects the auxiliary battery to the terminal on the right fender which is connected to the the main feed. A quick way to test, is to remove the brown connector wire with the fusibile link between the two terminals. If the wire coming from the auxiliary battery does not have power with the switch on, then the relay is defective or there is a problem with the wiring. The ignition wire that activates the relay should be a #10 purple wire and should have 12 volts on it with the ignition on. It is an unfused ignition source. Good luck! Jim |
