Not sure what the proper name for these are - I was hauling some lumber for my deck last weekend and snapped one. Its the braided cable that goes from the tailgate to the bed.

Not trying to be a smart alec or anything, but if you go to most auto parts stores, they sell these for under $15. It's a tail-gate support cable.

Cheapest I've found is $20ish - Its not the money issue I just wanted to see if anyone here had one, that way a board member is helping a board member.

Cool, thanks! I guess I'll just pick one up at the local GM dealer tomorrow. Thought I'd give the board a try first
