Other then door opener, window winder, arm rest mounts and any other mounting holes.....would a door panel from a 67-72 work (with modifications) on a 73-87 door? Same width or anything?

I'm not 100%, but I think that the 72 panel will go on a newer door without mods, but a 71 and below will need to be modified.
