input on this setup
I was looking for ideas to do the rear,I saw this and it looked simple.Is this a good setup,won,t let me upload the pic but is a 2 link where the link goes from the rearu bolts and connects to the old spring hanger

There are those that think they're great; there are those that think they're not so great. I looked into this set-up for my 74, but decided against because of the drastic amount of pinion angle change they are capable of as the suspension cycles through compression/extension.

I drove on an Ekstensive 2-link for years in my 97 x-cab and never had one problem with it.
Just this summer I swapped the panhard for a watts link. Worked like a charm.. I never changed the air pressure while driving... Raised it to drive height, layed it out at a show... |

I left the flip-kit + shackles in & added a home built air-over-leaf so I could tow my trailer.

I followed this logic but mine has the upper home-made bag plate welded to the bolt-in c-section & the lower bag mount is the original leaf spring pad on the top of the rear end housing. My bags are bolted in from the top & float on the bottom using an allen bolt in the bottom of the bag to locate it on the spring perch. Before I did mine, I PM'd Kevin to inquire about how the dbl convoluted worked for him. He said he ran it w/o air psi when he didn't need the extra capacity so you don't even know they're there. I agree.
