Replacement Body panels.

Looking for some help on the best after market body panels. Has anyone used the Goodmark or the Tri-Pro Automotive. If so how was the quality and fit. Thanks in advance for the help.

From previous posts...Goodmark's quality comes into question. Tri-Pro has better quality parts. Many vendors use the same supplier for sheet metal but there will be others who have better knowledge than I so I am sure they will chime in.

Re: Replacement Body panels.

i have handled a ton of sheet metal from both companies. the only consistent complaint i have heard from Goodmark was about damaged parts. i have used Both and really didnt see much of a difference

Re: Replacement Body panels.

I've never really had any luck with aftermarket sheetmetal. On the front of my truck I ended up finding a combination of NOS and good, used parts. Even if the used parts aren't perfect, it seems to take less time and effort to get them to fit and look good vs. new aftermarket sheetmetal. I have an entire bed from Tri-plus, and the whole thing had to be redrilled, trimmed, shimmed, ect. On top of that, the metal is really thin.

If you look hard enough, good sheetmetal is out there. It usually seems cheaper and easier to go the aftermarket route, but you will more than make up for that lower price in bodyshop labor.
