Need help finding a tire

My 1972 GMC Jimmy has 4 BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail 31 X 10.50 X 15 tires with most of the tread left. I just got a bed mounted spare tire carrier and want a matching tire for a spare. BF Goodrich no longer makes that size tire. I will gladly pay shipping if somone can locate me a (preferably new) or used Radial long trail in the size I need

BF Goodrich informed me that Sears, Sullivan Tire, Town Fair Tire, National Tire and Battery carry their brand and one of them may have one in stock. I have contacted all the local retailers.

Thanks
Mark

I also run exactly the same tires except mine are Coopers. Got them at a local tire shop.

Would you be willing to check next time you are there and ship one to me? here is the email I recieved from BFGoodrich

Mark,

Thank you for your email. We welcome the opportunity to serve you.

I am sorry to say the BF Goodrich Long Trail T/A has been discontinued and
we do not have any in our inventory. The only thing I can recommend is
contacting dealers in your area to see if they still have one in their
inventory.

Sears, Sullivan Tire, Town Fair Tire, National Tire and Battery.

Re: Need help finding a tire

I'll make a recommendation that might help...Do a Google search looking for tire sellers in your area. Then just start making phone calls. You might find some good deals since they are being discontinued. Good Luck with your search.

Ok...just thought with a local or regional Google search there would be dealers with them still in stock.

Re: Need help finding a tire

THis is by no means new, but one of them is passable and one doesn't hold air. Cheap too. $20 for the left pair (on 88+ spare rims) Not sure where in the East Coast you are though.
