Re: im 24 and i have a '65 c10 (MN)
i picked that truck up for $400 in St Paul, mn in january. it didnt run at the time. the main cause was the entire fuel system, so i replaced it all. it runs well ans looks good in the pics cause of its dark color. Both rockers and cab corners are rotted, the floor has some holes too. there is just light surface rust in misc. spots on the body. i would like to keep it stock, except for safety upgrades. like brakes and possibly power steering. or should i go all out custom? would i be better off putting a different engine in it to or rebuilding the one i have (230cid) i can get my hands on a early '60s 283 from my uncle but it also needs a redo. any input will be helpful, thanks, RMH

Welcome, from a fellow newbie and Minnesotan.
That is a nice looking truck, I've always liked that vintage. Sounds like you do have a bit of work ahead of you, I wish you luck with that all. I don't have any experience with the inline 6 motors, to guide you one way versus another as far as that vs V8 goes.

Welcome aboard
I'm over in Bloomington, and it's nice to see more people from the area. I was down in farmington sunday, buying some parts, and tried to convince the guy to checkout the site. If you need parts let me know
