Question Ok im considering the drop.....help please

I am thinking of lowering my truck after i get my new motor in. How low can i go with just coil springs and drop shocks? Is it 3 front 4 rear? Please post pics of your trucks lowered with just springs and drop shocks.........thanks fellas

3" front drop springs. Bump steer is minimal, just take it to a good alignment shop.

How much can you drop the back before you have to c-notch it?

How do you determine how much you need to drop when you don't know if the current heght is normal or due to sagging springs? Or does it really matter since the new springs will give it the right height?

I now have a 4/6 drop on my truck with no c notch so I can say you can go with 6 inches maximum in the rear...

It's about time you crossed over...

Trust me, once it's down you will wonder why you didn't do it earlier. As lolife99 has posted above, as well as several others, I would highly recommend ECE's products. I know you don't want to go to low, but with my 4.5/6 drop on my '69, everything went together and I didn't have to worry about missing parts or unanswered questions.
