New from Far West Texas

Hello Everyone,

My name is Leo and happy to be part of this website.
I had been wanting to work on a project build for quite sometime and had started on a 78 Chevy C20 Scottsdale. The truck needed a quite a bit of work so I started looking for a truck in better condition. I looked at Craig's list and came across an 84 GMC High Sierra with a 250 Straight six and a Turbo 200 Automatic. Truck is a short bed with fully functional electric windows and door locks. I purchased it for $800 dlls and have been working on it ever since. I have swapped the straight six with a 454 and a Turbo 350 tranny. The truck is very fast and the torque is incredible. Cleaned it up and put new tires, new grill with late model GMC emblem but kept it as original as possible. Let me know what you think.

Thanks for the comment Hoods69BadBowTie. The truck moves really fast, sounds mean and drives like a dream. Heck, I use it more that my 99 Silverado. Noticed that you have many sweet rides yourself.
