any tonneau cover ideas
I was looking to make my own cover and cab cover,is a 78 blazer.I can,t believe no one has tried on here.I just want to make it quick so I don,t have to take the heavy canopy off all the time.I know they make a glass cab part bit is a little pricey and is in florida

Re: any tonneau cover ideas
I looked at making one before but just have not made the time to do it. I would like to see some one build one.

Re: any tonneau cover ideas
The nicest set up I have ever seen was where a guy took the back of a truck cab and modified it to fit on the Blazer half cab. He also used the truck bed rails and made them as caps for the Blazer rails. With that done, he made a flush fit cover that fit inside the rails. It was a lot of metal work, but he owned a body shop and knocked it out in a week.
Unfortunately that was many years ago and I didn't get any pics.

Re: any tonneau cover ideas
I had many ideas for the box cover but for the cab I was wondering about a peice of plexiglass and paint the outside but leave where the window should be clear, maybe put a hinge on it so it could lay flat on the box cover, then do it up at night do keep cats and coons out
